Tommorow is Josephine's first Birthday! It is hard to put into words what a wonderful blessing she has been to our family. She has a delightful spirit, and brings great joy to all of us! She has been cruising the walls and pushing the laundry hamper across the kitchen. She has 4 teeth, and we still are not sure what color her eyes are going to be. They are a greenish, brownish, greyish color. Her hair is growing slowly, but she has some wisps and curls in the back. During the day she crawls around the house looking through books, and talking/singing to them, chasing after the girls, climbing into chairs and tapping on the piano keys. She discovered that she can climb from a little chair onto the piano bench and then tap on the keys. She loves to do this. It makes me nervous every time I see her in a chair. Evelyn was also a climber! She would climb into chairs and not be able to get down. Josephine is learning to dangle her feet over the sides, and then scoot off.
We began school 3 weeks ago! It is great! Katie is learning quite a lot, and she already knows so much. It has been good for all of us. It is nice to have more of a schedule during the week. It helps us all be a little more organized!
We now have a permanent disconnect power box for the "building house". Matthew has a few more wires to connect and the phone line to install. Then we hope to start putting up insulation and sheetrock! That will be momentous!
We spent a weekend in Ft. D. earlier this month. We had a great time. We went hiking through the state park, driving through the mountains and swimming in the kiddie pool. I have lots of pictures, and will try to post them soon. With school, house work and every day living it has been difficult for me to get much done on our blog page. But I will try to post some more pictures soon.
