Another great party picnic!

We had a fun day with Matthew's parents and my grandparents at the "building house". We had a picnic lunch with Austin and Mary, and then the girls opened presents. Mary made Evelyn a beautiful little lavendar ballet suit. Before lunch my grandparents stopped by with gifts. My grandma gave Katie my little girl sewing machine that my great grandmother had given to me. That was a special and thoughtful gift too. The girls are blessed to have so many caring grandparents that love them so much.

We rejoice in the birth of each of our wonderful little blessings. I am in awe that God has entrusted us with such precious little lives to nurture and care for. It is wonderful to see how they grow, change, and learn. Each little girl is unique, and has her own special strengths and personality. Yet they are all very similar, because they are sisters. I look forward to seeing how they grow into beautiful women of God.

"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies...Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised." (Proverbs 31:10,25, and 30)

These verses have been on my heart lately. Thinking about how crazy the world is and how to raise up children of God, protecting their souls as they mature. It is easy to get sucked into the ways of the world. Its harder to stand firm against them. May God give us all strength "to train up our children in the way they should go"!

Have a blessed day!
